HCG VLCD Day 1

Ok, I totally miss my coffee with milk, two sugars. Instead I had Rooibos tea with a teaspoon of agave nectar.

Lunch I steam fried seasoned chicken breast in a little virgin coconut oil and ate that on a bed of salad leaves and shredded beetroot. Stick of grissini which I didnt find appaling. Apple.

I was hungry almost immediately after lunch, Im also upset about some personal issues, so I just went back to sleep, despite having already slept 18hrs.

Supper was diced lean beef with spices and steam fried in virgin coconut oil. Eaten with 220g tomato, sprayed with Braggs amino acid (soy sauce alternative). 4 large strawberries. Stick of grissini.

Not satisfied, and all I could think about was that left over chocolate roll from yesterday’s load day. Instead, I had another grissini with more water.

Ended up eating the chocolate roll, feel bad about it. Feel miserable.

Not sure if I can keep up with this TBH.

ps: I have a headache, probs coffee withdrawal.


Have started the HCG Diet

Ok, so today is the very first day where Im supposed to load with lots of fatty high calorie food, I didnt do so well with that because I dont really eat very much, but will give it a better shot tomorrow as its supposed to be more effective if you load well.

So today I had 2 coffees with skimmed milk and two sugars, most of a packet of Fox’s extremely chocolatey biscuits, a packet of thai flavoured rice crackery snack things, veggie stir fry that my friend made, a sandwich on seeded bread filled with mixed salad, avocado, wholegrain mustard and hummus. Also about a litre of water. Oh and a glass of fruit juice.

I dont really eat red meat or chicken, but will give it a go for the diet.

Just melted goats cheese onto a large handful of walnuts and added olive oil and a quarter avocado with some garlic salt.

HOLY SHIT! I hadnt realised Id put on so much weight!

I will be doing yoga and ballet conditioning daily while on the diet.

So Ive been slacking on my diet for a while now and I am back up to 67kgs. I want to take up ballet classes again and get down to 57kgs, lose all this fat around my waist. This means a high protein diet (and Im a veggie), so lots of beans, lentils, peas and green leafy veg. I generally dont eat very much at all, but then substitute my craving for calories with high calorie foods like biscuits and other desserts thinking that since I only eat once a day that itll be alright. Bad move. So Im going to try and eat 5-6 small meals a day. Lots of raw fruit and veg with hummus, fruit bran with oat milk, steamed brocolli and cherry tomatoes with couscous or quinoa and snacking on nuts and seeds. All as organic as I can get them. Id rather pay high prices for food than for Dr bills as a result of eating chemical laden food.

Ive worked out that I need to eat 134g of protein per day to loss weight, so I will be putting my protein count next to everything I eat.

I aim to do either ballet or yoga every day also.

* four big glasses water
* handful pecan nuts - 5g protein.
* coffee with milk n two sugars
* bowl of fruit bran with oat milk
* red apple
* carton of spiced sweet potato soup and two end slice of bread with butter and garlic salt
* one carrot and two sticks celery with hummus


Update

Yesterday: chicken and veggie pie, packet of crisps, two slices grilled cheese and wholegrain mustard on seeded toast, vodka and lemonade, couple glasses of cider.

Day before yesterday: home made veggie stirfry, water.

Im away on a course for a week from today, have fun, eat clean, stay hydrated!

21st Sept

Couldnt sleep till around 5am this morning, up at 1pm. Had a real busy day today and no time to eat until 9pm when I had a microwave Laksa Soup from the grocery store and two pots of banoffee pie desert. Also had one cup of rooibos tea with agave and lots of water and the usual vits.

Oh and I had some soup with two slices seeded bread and butter and garlic salt.


20th Sept

went to sleep at 5am so woke up after 1pm…

* two slices seeded bread, whole grain mustard and grilled cheese

* coffee

* tomato and basil soup

* apple

* nectarine

* 1.5ltrs water

* handful licorice all sorts

No exercise.

My fitness pal says I consumed 927 calories today.


19th Sept

* all the vits, glass of water

* vanilla latte

* tomato and red lentil soup

* 3 cabbage wraps with hummus, avocado, arugula/rocket and red pepper

* 4 carrots and hummus

* rooibos tea and agave nectar

* water

no exercise, ran errands and then worked!

awake at 11am, to bed at 3am!


All organic cabbage, brocolli, peppers, avo, tomatoes, watercress, rocket/arugula, garlic, butter, apples, carrots, hummus, cucumber, tomato & basil soup, eggs and a lime.

I cook with coconut oil - stuff is amazing for everything from skin to diet! I add ground flax seeds and lecithan to my food also and if I want to drink something other than water, I drink rooibos/redbush tea with agave nectar.

I usually make something with a vegetable and some quinoa or buckwheat and fresh tomatoes or I make salad wraps wrapped in cabbage. I always pour extra virgin cold pressed organic olive oil on my soups and salads and stir frys, very good for you!

I never buy sweets and chocolates and cakes or biscuits and have them in the house, WAY too tempting, I get enough from katterapy’s stash!

Slept again most of the day

fruit bran cereal with rice milk, nectarine, 3 eggs scrambled with brocolli and cherry tomatoes, 3 slices granary toast with lemon curd, all my vits, water.

no exercise.

Slept all day…

vits, water, apple, lentil and tomato soup, raw cashews, carrot and cream cheese, 2 slices wholegrain mustard and grilled cheese on seeded bread, salted cashews.
